I worked hard to finish the back of the CPH this weekend, and I was successful!! I need to buy a board, which I saw at Joann the other day, to block it. It’s for sewing, but I’m guessing it will work great. I need to print off a coupon though. I’ll take a picture once I have it pinned for blocking!

I went and saw Taken, definitely worth seeing. It was so good, I might buy it. I’d have to put it in the top 10 for action movies.

I watched a couple other movies this weekend too,
Gone Baby Gone:

A thriller about a little girl being kidnapped, and the aunt-in-law hiring private detectives to find the little girl. I never expected the outcome, really makes you consider how far you will go to obey the law.

Stop-Loss

A man has served his country, and wants to get out, but he is being forced to do another tour in Iraq.

Mad Money

I expected this to be a corny silly movie, and it definitely had it’s corny parts, but I surprisingly enjoyed it. Would definitely watch again.

Other than that, it was a pretty quiet weekend. The snow wasn’t as bad as expected, but still made me want to sit at home and do nothing!

Another weekend is upon us, and another winter storm watch. What is the difference between a watch and a warning? Anyway, we are supposed to get some inches of snow tonight. So guess what I’ll be going, watching Stop Loss, which I got from Netflix, and working on my CPH. I am ready to start the armhole of the back, and I’ve finished my first skein, very good progress for me. I’m guessing I should have the back complete this weekend and one of the fronts started. I contemplated doing the fronts at the same time, but I don’t think I want to complicate my first sweater just yet. I guess it wouldn’t be all that complicated, but I could see me getting confused, or on autopilot, and following the right front pattern when I should be following the left front. So, I’ll just do one at a time. It will be fine!

The CPH will probably be the cheapest hoodie a person could ever make, La bought me two skeins, and I had coupons, so I bought two more skeins for about ten dollars. I may need one more in the end, even if I have to pay full price (which I won’t because I ALWAYS have a JoAnn coupon somewhere), I will have paid 17 dollars total, for a hoodie, can’t beat that!
